US Custom House

This neglected federal office building presented a unique redevelopment opportunity in Portland’s Pearl District. Eastern purchased the 68,500 square foot Custom House building at federal auction with plans to restore and reposition a piece of Portland’s history to create this shared co-working space. Eastern secured a full building lease with the nation’s leading co-working company, WeWork. 

Upon completion of the award-winning redevelopment of this historic landmark, Eastern successfully sold this asset in 2017.
