Acquisition and entitlement of a 26-acre obsolete retail property in Portsmouth, NH.

Over a two-year period, Eastern designed and permitted the redevelopment of this prime Portsmouth site with a vision to transform a vacant retail center into a 360-unit, Class-A apartment community. Spread across a collection of three- and four-story buildings, Prescott Post aims to capitalize on the strong demand for high-quality housing in the Seacoast region, fueled by Portsmouth’s growing population, vibrant local economy, and proximity to major employment drivers.

The project was thoughtfully designed to maximize its 2.7+ acres of active green space, fostering a cohesive neighborhood atmosphere. Further, the community is surrounded by best-in-class walkable amenities such as Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Home Depot, Starbucks and various fast casual options.

Eastern broke ground in October 2025 and expects to deliver the initial phase of units in December 2026 with project completion targeted for late 2027.
