Greendale Mall / AMZ

Eastern, in a joint venture with Finard Properties, redeveloped the Greendale Mall into a last-mile distribution facility for Amazon. Through a collaborative public-private partnership with MassDOT and the City of Worcester, the team reimagined this 16.5-acre site as a purpose-built, 121,000 SF logistics facility. The space features 32ft clear heights, generous bay sizing, 10 loading docks, 760 parking spaces, and abundant trailer parking capacity.

Completed in November 2022, the facility is strategically situated at the intersection of Interstates 290 and 190 and provides immediate highway access for seamless operations servicing a 568,000 population across 15 miles.  This once underutilized site now serves as an opportunity for economic growth in the area through the creation of construction and permanent jobs as well as increased tax revenue.
